Cartoons can be so versatile and can add a sense of humour to any publication. Ray Fears a spoof on survival expert Ray Mears was originally created by Steve for the Dandy and caught the eye of Bushcraft & Survival skills magazine, a magazine devoted to being a valuable resource for outdoor types and survival enthusiasts. Bushcraft magazine ran the original run of comic strips from the Dandy in the magazine a while ago and now this month sees the all exclusive return of Ray Fears to Bushcraft & Survival Skills for its 50th issue. It is irresistably funny and a delightful addition to a great magazine.

Steve already being a fan, sent them an idea for a comic strip and they snapped it up. It is a light hearted magazine that is focused on having fun in a hobby that can often seem a bit stuffy.
