This weeks Beano comic features a brand new Bananaman story drawn by original Bananaman creator, Steve Bright. I was pleased to be asked to draw an accompanying puzzle page showing the streets of Beanotown crawling with General Blight-a-likes!

I’ve recently started working on iPad Pro with apple pencil. The ProCreate app has a cool function which records as you sketch. So I thought I’d utilise this and make a few short videos as I sketch and share them on YouTube. Here is the first vid!

It’s always fun to draw Bananaman, and this week he’s having trouble taking a selfie. Can you work out who is photobombing old nana knickers? Check out this weeks puzzle feature.

I have been busy dreaming up make and do features for young menaces. This time you can make your own splattered tomatos to stick on windows. I have to make and photograph everything for these menace makes not a bad job to have really, over the last few weeks I’ve made Thor’s hammer, a toy tank, eyeball ice cubes and toilet roll snowmen! look out for some of those in coming weeks.
I’m pleased to say I’m working on a new comic strip for the Beano too. I’ve delved into the DC Thomson archives and redesigned some old characters. I’m 4 stories in on this current run and should be able to reveal who I’m drawing very soon, so watch this space.
Bananaman in a Piranha Panic!
It’s been a busy time for Steve on the Beano check out this weeks issue it has lots of his fantastic work. Steve is always over the moon to get to draw Bananaman, one of his favourite characters, this week Bananaman is in a panic and needs help to escape from the jaws of those hungry piranhas.

Grandpa is up to his tricks again he certainly lives life to the max, great fun again this week. It just goes to show it doesn’t matter how old you are on the the outside its how you feel on the inside that counts!
Dad puts Ethan’s head in a jar!
Last holiday Ethan spent a day with his dad at work to see what his dad did he ended up drawing some fantastic pictures, he loved it so much that he wants to come and work for Bee Toons when he is older! He very bravely became a willing menace to be the picture for this weeks head in a jar. Gruesomely good!
